Suganda white lotus moisturizer
Hi friends,
Welcome to Vanity Sparkles.
Today I am going to review the Suganda white lotus moisturizer.
Suganda white lotus moisturizer
You must have heard many bloggers rave about this product. It is a holy grail moisturizer for so many. This made me want to try this soooo bad!
I have tried 2 other Suganda products and I have absolutely loved the BHA serum. Totally recommended.
I have oily and acne prone skin and always in search of moisturizer that will not make my face greasy. This one claims to work in that way.
It comes in a glass bottle which is environment friendly but clumsy people, get a grip!
White lotus has many health and beauty benefits. It is rich in antioxidants and deeply hydrates the skin, improves skin elasticity and when this moisturizer is used regularly for a longer period of time, it claims to work on acne spots. It also contains Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) which is again rich in anti-oxidants, reduces the formation of acne and also helps with degradation of collagen which means delayed wrinkles
The white lotus moisturizer has a white gel like consistency and spreads well on the skin. It smells so good and soothing. It claims to be oil free which helps it to give a matte finish.
As I apply it on the skin, it gets absorbed so quickly and doesn't feel greasy or oily. I love it for that! It also gives a decent amount of hydration. It would work really well as a makeup base and would not make your makeup slip and slide. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin at all.
The other claim is that it also helps to fade acne scars. I couldn't see that really! It did nothing for my blemishes.
Except for giving hydration and perfect matte finish, I couldn't see anything else!
Dry skin beauties might want to skip this one since it isn't moisturizing enough. However, it is mentioned that it can be used as a hydrating serum as well that can be topped with a moisturizer.
Also, I generally go for more heavy creams for night time and so this one is only a day time buddy for me!
Pros:
- Gives a good matte finish
- Smells great
- Contains white lotus and niacinamide
- Doesn't make the skin oily or greasy
- Feels light on the skin
- Hydrating
- Free of silicon and oil
- Environment friendly packaging. Also, great pump packaging.
Cons:
- Did not work on reducing acne scars or blemishes
- Expensive! It is around INR 750/- and I honestly don't feel like spending so much on just a hydrating cream!
Would I recommend?
I really hate to say this and I hope I don't get wrath of other bloggers but No, I wouldn't recommend it. Unfortunately it did not do anything special for me!
