Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream
Hi friends,
Welcome to Vanity Sparkles.
Today I am going to review the Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream.
Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream
Has it ever happened to you that you licked a product clean but realised that you had forgotten to review it?
Well, Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream is definitely one of that products for me. I am so glad that I posted a beautiful texture shot of this already because the light blue smooth texture is oh so beuatiful! Do scroll down my feed if you wanna have a look.
So, last year Limesse had a Secret Santa venture and I was a part of it. My secret Santa, the beautiful tinybeautygrams, gifted me this cream and mask. Thank you so much!
Packaging: It comes in a really cute black tub. It also has a spatula which is great for maintaining hygiene.
Texture: It has a light blue smooth creamy texture. However, it is not heavy on the skin but melts away really nicely.
Ingredients: It is rich in hydrating ingredients. Also has Centella which is great for claming the skin. Its key ingredient is a natural component extracted from chamomile oil - Guaiazulene (derivative of azulene), which gives it the blue colour. Guaiazulene has antioxidant, antifungal, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties.
My experience:
I have acne prone skin and I am also sensitive to the sun. My skin gets red and heated after sun exposure. So this was the perfect product for me since it claims to calm and soothe irritated skin.
This cream can be used as a spot treatment on the affected or irritated areas. I used to apply this at night on my acne or scaring or any area that seemed rough or irritated. It really helps to calm the skin down.
I recently also had an allergic reaction and my skin was all itchy and scratchy. No lotion was working for me! (Yes, even the one the doc gave)
I applied this religiously every night on the irritated areas and it made my skin soo much calmer and soothed it really well.
It also helps to hydrate rough patches.
Can you use it as a moisturiser? No. It does not work well that way. As a treatment to soothe the skin, it is the perfect choice.
Would I recommend?
Yes! Especially for acne prone, sensitive skin and sun burns.
My rating: 5/5
