Superdrug Fruity Coconut Shampoo
Hi friends,
Welcome to Vanity Sparkles.
Today I am going to review the Superdrug Fruity Coconut Shampoo.
When I was browsing the site, I saw this and added to cart immediately. I loved the Palmers coconut shampoo and so I thought to give this one a shot too.
Packaging: This comes in a huge plastic bottle that has a pump which makes it convenient to use. But quantity does not make it travel friendly.
Texture & smell: It has a milky liquidy consistency. It has a mild coconut smell but it does not last long. I wish it did.
My experience:
I really like the affordability of it firstly! 535 ml for INR 399/-
It seems like a good deal.
I have used this with and without oil, with and without conditioner/ serum.
It is a great mild cleanser that helps to cleanse the scalp very well with out stripping it. It helps to wash away the oil as well with out much difficulty.
It makes my hair manageable and shiny. My hair feels nourished. But it does not curb the dryness and also does not make it tangle free. So you have to use a conditioner or a serum and that helps.
It does not do anything for the hair fall. Does not increase or decrease it.
It contains SLS. Personally, I do not mind that since many researches have been around that say constant exposure of 24 hours to these chemicals harms us. I do not keep shampoo that long! Also, I have oily scalp, dry hair and color treated hair and it has not affected me negatively.
Would I recommend?
If you are some one who likes to wash their hair frequently then you should go for it. If you do not have extremely frizzy hair then you can do with out conditioning your hair frequently as well.
My rating: 4/5
