Cosrx-Advanced snail 96 mucin power essence
Hi friends,
Welcome to Vanity Sparkles.
Today I am going to review the Cosrx-Advanced snail 96 mucin power essence.
Cosrx-Advanced snail 96 mucin power essence
I had attended the launch event of cosrx by limese where I came to know so much about ingredients and the philosophy of this brand.
There I came to know the many benefits of snail mucin. It still seems weird to so many people that I can apply this on my skin.
This winter, my skin was suffering from some dry patches. This generally doesn't happen. So, the snail mucin came to the rescue.
This is the first time I have ever tried a snail product.
This cult favorite essence is loaded with 96% snail mucin extract to replenish and repair damaged skin. It fills the skin with elasticity for a healthier, younger looking skin. Snail mucin has the ability to repair everything from dry patches, to acne breakouts, lightening hyper-pigmentation with regular use.
It has a goopy and sticky gel like consistency that applies smoothly on the skin and then just seeps in it. It feels a bit cooling and hydrates my skin very well. I apply it every night but you can use it both in the am and pm routine.
It is very light weight and does not make the skin greasy.

My dry patches are definitely going with regular use of this and skin seems glowing and soft.
As per the acne and pigmentation claims, I did not see a difference. Maybe because I had the mini version of it. It definitely helps to soothe and calm the skin down.
Since it is an essence, it can not be used stand alone as a moisturizer especially in winters. You need to apply a night gel/cream for more moisturization.
Pros:
- Hydrates the skin and heals dry patches
- Makes the skin smooth and soft
- Soothing and calming on the skin
- Cruelty free
Cons:
Can not say that it is a con since I had only limited quantity, but I did not see any effect on acne or hyper pigmentation.
Would I recommend?
It is a good hydrating product but I think I would skip it. You can try the snail cream if you need more hydration.
