Plum Hello Aloe Skin Loving Face Wash
Hi friends,
Welcome to Vanity Sparkles.
Today I am going to review the Plum Hello Aloe Skin Loving Face Wash.
It comes in this nice simple tube packaging. It has a clear gel texture. Like all Plum products, this one also contains fragrance. It says that it is for sensitive skin but fragrance does not go well with sensitive skin so patch test is of course necessary. This did not react with my acne prone skin at all though. The fragrance is pleasant, not at all strong and does not linger. I personally do not mind it.
I use it every morning as a mild gentle cleanser. Sometimes, also for my second step of double cleanse.
It takes off all the dirt and grime and makes my skin clean with out drying it out. A little dryness could be expected in winters for dry skin but for oily skin, I do not feel it is drying.
It is free of all the harmful chemicals. However, it contains Sodium Laureth Sulphate which I googled and found out to be SLES. Now, Plum says that it is free from SLS, but it does contain SLES which is milder and less irritating than SLS.
I have used the Simple facewash as well which is essentially for sensitive skin and does not contain any harmful chemicals which retails for INR 325/- for 150 ml. This one retails for INR 345/- for 75 ml. So, you can obviously do the math here. Although, I think Simple is not cruelty free.

I would say that this one performs very similarly to the Simple facewash.I have used the Simple facewash as well which is essentially for sensitive skin and does not contain any harmful chemicals which retails for INR 325/- for 150 ml.
