Lucifer Review
If you like Lucifer then you already know that the last season is out!
Did you watch it?
It is so difficult to maintain a grid pattern on the feed. You always have to come up with new ideas for a series.
So here I am, kicking off this new series where I review some of the shows and movies that I think are amazing and worth a watch!
If you are one of those who hasn't watched Lucifer at all, lemme tell you what you are missing out on.
Lucifer is one of those series that has a really different story. Something that you would never have thought of.
It is about how the devil leaves hell and comes to LA and becomes a consultant for the police department to eventually fall in love with Chloe, the detective.
It is one of those series that the Indian cinema will never be able to copy as the thought of the devil leaving hell and celestial beings walking on earth and doing human things is something that our people will pelt stones over.
What I love about Lucifer is how well something that can be so fear-inducing is handled so well. It shows the truly vulnerable side of the characters in ways that actually make you connect with them.
Lucifer is extremely self-centred, insensitive and well, the devil, but you still end up liking him. Like retinol, you know! Can be drying, gives you redness, needs a lot of pampering (hydrating & moisturizing products) but you love the effects of it!
All the characters have their own story to tell and it's great to see that their characters are built so well. It shows the daily ups and downs of life, the difficulties in relationships, losing and regaining faith, and dysfunctional families!
The main thing I love about it is how well it puts down the fact that humans are responsible for their own behaviour. It's their choice when they do something wrong. The devil is here to just punish them. Make them face their Karma! Just like all those times when you hear influencers advice you not to pop your pimple but you still go ahead and do it and it leaves a deep acne scar. You have no one else to blame but yourself!
You should definitely watch Lucifer for its drama, uniqueness, variety of characters and yes, the story!
SPOILER ALERT!
The ending is a real disappointment. If you've seen it, what did you think?
