Sounds different, right? I had never heard of watermelon used as skincare. It just intrigued me and so I bought it.

Packaging: The packaging is a glass tub that looks good. The packaging is sturdy and luxurious. However, since it is a bulky glass jar, it is not travel friendly.

My experience

Like I mentioned before, the watermelon ingredient intrigued me and I just had to buy this product.

The gel has a light reddish pink color and has a very mild sweet smell. It smells and looks really good. It gives a cooling sensation on application and spreads easily on the skin.

Since it is a gel texture, it absorbs easily on the skin and is not sticky or greasy at all. I apply it every morning and it feels good. After application it also gives a tightening sensation which makes me feel that helps to maintain elasticity of the skin also.

I had two dry patches near my mouth area due to sunburn and the gel does not irritate them. I used to feel itchy on those spots but after I have started using this gel I don't feel so anymore.

However, I am not sure of how much this gel can be used for hydration. I would suggest that dry skin types can skip this one because of that. But really good for oily beauties.

I faced no issues or breakouts with this one and since it is natural, even sensitive skin can give this one a shot. (However, a patch test might be helpful).
