Vilvah Chocolate Face Mask
Hi friends,
Welcome to Vanity Sparkles.
Today I am going to review the Vilvah Chocolate Face Mask.
Vilvah Chocolate Face Mask
I love face masks. Even though my pm routine has lots of steps (lemme know if you wanna know), but face masks just seems like a legit pamper session.
Plus, when it comes with chocolate. It is a delight!
The vilvah chocolate face mask smells like, no points for guessing, chocolate. It smells delish! Like a mint chocolate.
It does not have a thick consistency which makes it easier to spread on the face. This one is for oily skin type as it helps to clear the face of all the excess sebum. You apply it on your face and keep it for 20-30 mins.
When you apply it on your face, it burns. You will feel not just a tiny tingle but a burning sensation. Not soo much that you feel uncomfy but noticeable. But I think its because of the mint and spearmint oil. But it subsides in less than a minute. I do not mind it.
Spearmint oil infact helps to reduce inflammation and redness. So acne prone skin might also be helped with it. (Would not recommend using it on active acne). Cocoa powder is rich in anti oxidants and helps the skin to look glowing and youthful. Mint helps to brighten the face and treat acne. Clay helps to remove the excess sebum or oil. So many goodies!
It does all of the above. It surely does what it claims to do. It does not dry out my face but in fact just makes it feel healthy and fresh. This makes me feel that all skin types can actually use this.
Pros:
- Removes excess oil
- Does not dry out the skin
- Makes the face brighter and adds glow
- Helps to clear the face
- Great ingredients
- Not tested on animals
- Recyclable and sustainable packaging
Cons:
- Burning sensation on application
Would I recommend?
Yes I would. Especially for oily skin.
