Locke & Key Review

Does it happen to you that you read the synopsis of a series and get excited to watch it but it later turns out to be a below-average watch!

Locke & Key is a series about three siblings who find some magic keys after moving into their father's house in his native place after his death.

Tyler, the eldest of the three, seems to be the one who is playing according to the character. He is affected by his father's untimely demise and does not want to get into the magic keys drama since it gets deathly.

Kinsey, the middle child, is shown to be fearful in the beginning but later throws away her fear emotion out of her head (magic key and all) and becomes an irritating character. Seems like she threw fear and invited stupidity and impulsivity!

It's almost like the way some reels are nowadays. Want to get viral?

Last and definitely the least bothered about anything, Bode, the youngest. He is the one that wants to be like sunscreen, one who protects, but unfortunately, comes out to be a sunscreen with no legit filters. Just oils and those natural herbal mixtures!

I generally play some series on 1.25x speed if they are slow. I played this one on 1.5x speed and I still did not feel that it was fast enough. I skipped so many parts out of sheer irritation sometimes.

The story was good. It had potential. But in my opinion, it could have been executed much better. The script is creative and includes some good plot twists but I still did not feel hooked to it.
