Today I am going to review the Aroma Magic Coffee Bean Scrub.

A face scrub acts as a cleanser and also works for exfoliation. It is essential to scrub your face to remove the impurities and the dead skin cells from time to time, at least once or twice a week.

Aroma Magic was founded by Dr. Blossom Kochhar who has created this all-organic ingredient based range of products. It claims to be ecofriendly and having positive, healing effects on the mind, body and soul.

Claims: It is 100% free of harsh chemicals, alcohol, parabens, phthalates, sulphates, artificial colouring and fragrance. As a super innovative all-natural scrub formula made of green coffee bean extract, honey and organic coffee arabica powder, it exfoliates, deep cleans and improves circulation. 

The anti-oxidant quality regenerates new skin cells, fights free radicals caused by pollution and the harsh sun which causes wrinkles, fine lines and age spots associated with ageing. The mild aromatherapy blend of lemon grass, grapefruit and juniper berry essential oils detoxifies and re-balances the skin. The sublime combination of olive oil & shea butter provides moisture, softness, smoothness and a great glow.

Shelf Life: 3 years

Directions for use: Apply scrub on your face, neck and body. Massage gently with wet fingers and rinse off. For best results, leave it on for 10 minutes before rinsing. Pat your skin dry with a soft towel and continue with the rest of your skin care routine. Use once a week.

Packaging: The packaging is a small plastic tube. Aroma magic products generally come in very colorful and attractive packaging. It is travel friendly and hygienic.

My experience

I chose this in the make your own glamego box. I love subscription boxes as they introduce you to different products and you can then decide whether you would like to invest in them or not.

I love Aroma magic products because of its organic and chemical free nature.

This scrub has a mild coffee fragrance and is light brownish in color. It is creme based formula and has mild exfoliation particles. Because of the cream base formula it doesn't feel harsh on the skin.

I have oily skin and so cream based products don't suit me. This one didn't either. My skin felt oily and as if I needed to wash it again.

But if I was dry skin, I am sure I would have liked it. It cleans the skin without stripping it off. It also works as moisturizer for the skin and will not make your skin dry further.

Although it says it is for all skin types, my oily skin peeps should definitely stay from this one. Dry skin can give this one a try.
