Today I am going to review the Maybelline New York White Super Fresh Compact.

A world renowned cosmetics brand, Maybelline New York is known for its scientifically-advanced makeup formulas, revolutionary textures and up-to-the minute, trendsetting beautiful makeup products that are affordable and make you look effortless and stunning.

It is considered to be one of the most affordable brand that gives out amazing quality products.

Claims: Maybelline New York White Super Fresh has UV filters that protect skin from both sun darkening and damage. Helps you stay 12 Hr Fair and Fresh. Contains Perlite, a pure mineral that helps absorbs oil and sweat. Gives a naturally perfect-looking complexion. Contains SPF 28 to protect your skin. Suitable for everyday use.

Shade range: It comes in 4 shades: Pearl, Coral, Marble and Shell. On the screen it seems as if two are pink toned and two are yellow toned. The shade range could definitely be worked upon to be more inclusive.

Shelf Life: 2 years

Directions for use: Apply all over the face and neck with the puff provided. Blend well around the eyes, along the hairline and jawline, for a naturally perfect-looking complexion.

Packaging: It comes in a white plastic packaging with a puff. The packaging is sturdy and very travel friendly. Even though it comes in a very affordable rate, the packaging doesn't look cheap at all. It has a good quality mirror as well.

My experience

This compact was in my wish list for a long time. I was waiting for my previous one to get over so that I could buy this one. I had so many great things about this. A super affordable compact that actually works really well.

I use compact on an everyday basis. Just some moisturizer, sunscreen and then compact. Ready to go!

So, I definitely needed an affordable one that gave me some good results.

The first thing that I would really like to appreciate is the packaging. It is really good. I mention this because the price that it comes for is not reflected in the packaging at all. It looks quite classy.

I have fair to wheatish complexion and chose the shade shell. It matches me alright.

The compact powder is finely mild and very soft. It blends smoothly and easily. The only issue is that it smells quite irritating. It has a weird smell that I cant describe, but I just don't like it.

It gives light to medium coverage. I don't like heavy coverage on a day to day basis. I prefer something that makes my skin even toned. This one does the job very well.

It also contains SPF 28 and PA+++ which is an added bonus as we all need it in the scorching heat.

I have work this for the whole day and I wouldn't say that it stays for 12 hours. It stays for at least 4-5 hours after which you would need to touch up.

The puff that it comes with is alright. Not the best, but I use it and it does the job. You can always go for a brush or any other puff that you prefer.

I would definitely recommend it to every one who is looking for an every day compact and is on a budget. This one is perfect for that.
