Garnier Ultra Blends Shampoos

Hi friends,

Welcome to Vanity Sparkles.

Today I am going to review the Garnier Ultra Blends Shampoos.

Garnier Ultra Blends Shampoos

I love trying new shampoos. This time I have with me the Garnier Ultra Blends shampoos in the variants Royal Jelly & Lavender and Mythic Olive.

Packaging: There are 5 variants available. They all have really cute and colourful packaging. The small size comes in a squeeze plastic bottle that is sturdy and travel friendly. The bigger size comes in a pump packaging.

Texture: The texture of the olive is a transparent gel type and the lavender and jelly is a light yellowish cream type.

My experience:

I have oily scalp and dry and frizzy hair. I also have hair fall issues.

I first started using the lavender and jelly one since it claimed to be for hair fall. I honestly did not enjoy it. My hair felt drier and more frizzy. It also did not work on my hair fall at all. And since my hair felt more tangled, I used to lose more hair while combing!

My sister used it though and she liked it. She has pretty much normal thick hair with volume and no hair fall issues. It did not do any harm to her. It cleaned her scalp decently. Just a simple shampoo for her!

I had more expectations with the olive variant since it is for rough hair and olive oil we all know is moisturizing and nourishing.

It definitely helped to cleanse my scalp well. Even with oil in my hair, it used to do a decent job.

I have used it without conditioner and serum as well and I must say that it lives up to its claims. It makes my hair softer and more manageable. My hair seems more tangle free and frizz free.

However, it does not curb hair fall. It does not even claim to help it though!

Would I recommend?

If you have normal hair type, then you can probably try the royal jelly and lavender one. If you have dry and rough hair then definitely try the olive one. But if you have hair fall issues, skip both!

My rating: 4/5
