The Good Place Review

I love a good different yet engaging story no matter the genre!

The Good Place is one such series that has such a unique concept. It is a fresh take on the concept of Heaven and Hell, termed as the Good Place and the Bad Place, with the perfect serving of laughter!

It starts off when Eleanor realizes that she is wrongfully put in the Good Place and then sets on a journey to become a better person.

Remember the brand that makes some great products but was full of fragrance and later realized they need to do away with it? (Did you guess the brand? Tell me in the comments)

Eleanor is later joined by Jason who is like that viral makeup hack that seems so stupid but is soo much fun to do! They both are coached by the philosophy genius, Chidi. Tahani and Michael add the perfect balance to the team.

And then there is Janet! The all knowing one (couldn't write girl as she keeps reminding Jason throughout the series that she is not a girl).

Janet is all influencers dream goal! To become all knowledgeable and always right about everything beauty!

The people of the bad place keep trying to hinder the progress of the team but ofcourse efforts in vain!

Just like all those "all natural, no preservatives" skincare brands throwing shade over other brands but eventually everyone realized importance of preservatives and that all natural no chemicals is just fear mongering!

The best thing about the series is how simplistic and light hearted the script is. It keeps you engaged and smiling! It amazes me how people come up with such different concepts!

If you are looking to watch something light and unique, definitely give this one a shot!
