Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum

Do you have a product in your wish list that you want to get your hands on but you cant because its expensive?

Well, Sulwhasoo is definitely one such brand. Lets talk about their First Care Activating Serum today. This is the first and only product I have tried.

Packaging: Absolutely love it. So minimalistic and so cute. travel friendly, sturdy, great pump dispenser. All good things.

Texture and smell: The texture of this serum is soo light weight. It absorbs into the skin. It is an oil free formula, does not feel heavy or sticky on the face. It has a pleasant herbal smell. Has added fragrance.

My skin type: Oily and Acne prone

My experience:

Since this serum is more on the high end of the spectrum I wanted to have a thorough review. So, I have tried it stand alone and in combination with different products.

When I started using this, I had dehydrated skin and active acne going on. My skin also appeared dull because I had not been consistent with my routine. (Work, work, work, work, work)

I use it only in my PM routine. Require around 2 pumps for face and neck. Spreads easily.

It helps to hydrate the skin very well. You need a moisturizer on top for sure.

I must say that it definitely helped to make my skin appear healthier. My dull acne prone skin looked a little more nourished and brighter. My skin appears more even.

It claims to restore, rejuvenate and revitalize. I think on more consistent usage, the claims will hold true.

Would I recommend?

Well, this is tricky. I think it works. So if you have the budget and always wanted to give it a shot, then by all means, you can. But if you don't have the budget then do not think that you are missing out on something. You can find some other serums in your budget I am sure. The market is huge!
